This is a CD Drama of an original story during "Kanshikan Kogami Shinya" time. The Enforcers Kurata, Amari Torii, and Masaoka are there. Inspector Waku too. I was happy to hear them talking. Due to that CD Drama they've gotten Voice actors. Kurata voiced by Suzuki Tatsuhisa, Torii by Hayami Saori, Amari by Nanjo Yoshino and Waku by Hosoya Yoshimasa. I wished the Prequel Manga would've gotten its own anime Season though.

hello! do you know what happened to the inspector kougami manga series? I heard dark horse has taken over serializing it (I think that means translating) but they seem to have stopped at vol 4 when I think there's a total of 6 volumes, right? I can only find up to vol 4 in eng on amazn. I'd be more than willing to buy vol 5/6 to support the series if they're in eng but it looks like the eng serialization went completely on hiatus for some reason?

Yes, Dark Horse does the official English version of KKS, but as you said, they’ve only released up to volume 4. I couldn’t find any news about this, nor any announcement that it’s been cancelled, so it’s probably safe to say that it’s on indefinite hiatus.
